In 2012 NIVELCO Process Control Co. celebrates its 30th anniversary. On this occasion NIVELCO Company profile 2012 is launched to introduce the company founded in 1982 to concentrate on the manufacture of industrial level measurement and control products. The NIVELCO strength originates from the solid base created by a family business, guided over 75 turbulent years of continuous development. Milestones establishing the successes of the present have facilitated that NIVELCO is now a world-class level specialist, based in Hungary.

The process flow of the malt production is illustrated by the latest of NIVELCO’s animated flow chart series.
Malt is the most important raw material of beer and whisky. Continuous metering and switching as well as temperature monitoring of the raw (barley, wheat, rye, etc.) and finished (malt) materials are required by the technology used in this type of malt production. Instruments suiting the application as per NIVELCO’s recommendation will appear with their full specification when clicking on the appropriate symbol on the chart.

On October 13 in Zagreb (Croatia) in Hotel International a technical seminar was held about working principles and practical applications of NIVELCO level transmitters, pH transmitters and other analytical instruments. On this event more than 100 people were participated and listened technical lecturers presented by Damir Zibrat B.Sc.E.E. Eng. Gordan Vrbanec and Mateo Cecuk B.Sc.E.E.
This well attended seminar was a really good chance for NIVELCO to continue its penetration into the Balkan markets.

NIVELCO’s inaugural participation on WEFTEC ’11 in Los Angeles was a major success. This year’s conference provided attendees from all around the globe with close to a 1000 exhibiting companies and more than 10.000 visitors. We not just had the opportunity to meet some of our existing partners but also could establish new business relationships as well as spread the word about our impressive product line up. Our new Product Demo Model was a real visitor’s favourite with working transmitters, level switches and controllers.

NIVELCO's strategical event NIVELCO Family Sales Meeting was held in Balatonfüred, east cost of Lake Balaton. These annual trainings are very important to build closer relationship with partners, distributors and even our own subsidiaries. Summaries and presentations were held about successful NIVELCO projects from all over the world along with exchange of experiences or development suggestions. The event took place in a very good atmosphere, before the meetings there was a 2-day team-building training to improve team-spirit and friendly relationship among the employees.

NIVELCO will have its usual Holiday Shutdown between the
23rd of July and the 7th of August
, it will resume full operations on the 8th of August. We advise you to keep on sending your orders during our shutdown period because order processing will be done on "first come first served" basis.

A Three City Road Tour aimed at providing useful information about the company its products and their applications was performed successfully by NIVELCO early May in India.
The tour having its steps in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai was organised by the staff of NIVELCO INSTRUMENTS INDIA PVT. LTD. - subsidiary of NIVELCO Process Control Co. -
helped by its local distributors, Fluitec Instruments and Bartem Instruments. The presentations were done by invited executives from Budapest as well as by staff members of NIVELCO India.
Drawing an average of about 100 visitors a night, the tour was a success with benefits for both sides to come.

Croatian Water Conference

Between 18 and 21 May 2011 the 5TH CROATIAN WATER CONFERENCE was held in Grand Hotel Adriatic in Opatija, a coastal Adriatic town of Croatia.
This international conference was initiated by HRVATSKE VODE (Croatian Water) government organisation, where the importance of water management and its new technologies were emphasized.
NIVELCO contributed with its own exhibition as well as with two presentations held. Technical lectures were presented by Mr. Damir Zibrat, NIVELCO’s local hand about the most successful product of
NIVELCO for the water industry, the EasyTREK integrated ultrasonic level transmitters and AnaCONT pH transmitters from the new water analytics line.
This well attended conference was a really good chance for NIVELCO to continue its penetration into the East-European markets.

"RAILF (Romanian Automation & Instrumentation - Laboratory Fair) 2011" international process-automation exhibition was held between 10 and 12 of May in 2011 organised AAIR
(Control & Instrumentation Association of Romania) in Bucharest. Romanian subsidiary of NIVELCO, Nivelco Tehnica Măsurării took part for the first time on this exhibition.
Such as NIVELCO all significant players of the process automation industry and measurement-technologies were represented.
NIVELCO introduced its total portfolio of level transmitters including new developments to the visitors of this well attended Trade Fair.

Expanding NIVOROTA range
A heat sink equipped version of the NIVOROTA E-700 rotary paddle switch extends its application range for higher temperatures.
While all parameters stay identical with those of the standard type, the temperature limit of the new unit will increase to 200°C enabling coverage of high temperature mediums such as aggregates, hot cement and the likes.

The THERMOPOINT multipoint temperature transmitters have been expanded with new executions in the last few months. Along with the plastic coated flexible probe version which is ideal for grains, NIVELCO offers suitable solution for multipoint and average temperature measurement of normal and hazardous liquids.
The flexible stainless steel probe versions are available up to 30m, the rod probe versions up to 3m. The 2-wire HART capable transmitters are ideal for custody measurements where tracking of the volume differences caused by temperature change has key importance.

The UNICONT PDF-600 series with standard or flameproof (Ex d approved) stainless steel housing meets the special requirements of certain industry segments, such as Food and Beverage, Marine, Oil and Gas. Specifications of the electronics are the same as the well-known PDF-400/500 series.

NIVELCO’s SIL1 rated NIVOMAG series of side mounted level switches received a BV (Bureau Veritas) approval in addition to the existing GL (Germanische Lloyd) and DNV (Det Norske Veritas) approvals, making them an even more attractive choice for the shipbuilders.
The NIVOPOINT MZ series of miniature top mounted level switches are also BV approved now. As news, they are available up to 500 mm intrusion length with a maximum of 3 reed switches incorporated.

NIVELCO has received the OIML certificate for the Nivotrack series!
This is a great news for those long expecting this certificate for their penetration into new markets presented by the Oil and Gas industries.
The OIML certificate (OIML is standing for International Organization for Legal Metrology) attests that an equipment is complying with the relevant international
recommendations. It testifies that the Nivotrack is designed and built to conform with the standards laid down by OIML, as well as it performs within the specification limits provided by NIVELCO.

NivoTRACK with longer range
A magnetostrictive level transmitter with a longer range was a longstanding requirement of the market.
From now on, this challenge will be answered by NIVELCO extending the range up to 15 m.

NIVOFLIP bypass level indicator
A new member of the NIVELCO product range is the liquid bypass level indicator with optical bi-coloured magnetic flap display.
The instrument can be equipped with high resolution NIVOTRACK magnetostrictive level transmitter or optional limit switches. The display, transmitter and magnetic switches are operated by the magnet in the float of the unit.
